We are excited to welcome a new member of our team, Sheridan Kidd, as our new Junior Salesforce Consultant. From working in Sales and using Salesforce everyday to becoming an in-house administrator to honing his skills with a series of Salesforce partners, Sheridan has delivered Salesforce solutions in a wide range of industries and sectors from Finance to Media
I caught up with Sheridan to learn about his passions, his experience and his hobbies.
Hey Sheridan, so tell us a little bit about yourself!
I live just outside London with my partner, Kirstie and our kitten, Lincoln. I have been working in the Salesforce ecosystem in a variety of roles for nearly 8 years.
My first exposure to Salesforce was both as a user and recruitment consultant back in 2013 where I was responsible for hiring Salesforce Professionals globally. Since then, I made a jump to Solution Selling and finally to where I wanted to be as a Salesforce Consultant.
What is your experience as a Salesforce Consultant?
I have been working as a Salesforce consultant for around 3 years. Most of my experience in Salesforce has been based in the Channel Islands delivering end-to-end solutions for mid-large financial customers.
I’ve mainly focused on Sales Cloud as a speciality. Due to my strong background in Sales, this is the area of Salesforce I enjoy the most!
What attracted you to working with Salesforce?
I initially started using Salesforce as a user and I loved how efficient it was as a platform. it certainly made my day job quicker with some of the automated processes that were in place!
But also, the Salesforce ecosystem. I think it’s great to be part of such a strong and close knit community.
What interested you most about Trigg Digital?
Trigg attracted me as I felt it was a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting organisation at the start of it’s journey. Not only would it give me the ability to develop as a Salesforce Consultant but it would also let me learn from some of the best Salesforce Professionals in the ecosystem.
Another thing that was a big attraction was Trigg’s promise to give back. I feel that it is important to give back, and with Trigg being part of ‘Pledge 1%’ dedicating 1% of time, profit and resources to improve communities across the world the company seemed like a good fit.
Finally, what do you like doing in your spare time?
In my spare time, I like travelling and spending time with my girlfriend, family, friends and my kitten, Lincoln. I’m a big sports fan, I play football for a Sunday League football team and enjoy going to watch West Ham. It’s a massive shame I haven’t been able to go this year as it’s the best we have been playing in a very long time!
I also enjoy playing golf, however, I must confess that I’m not very good. That my friends would vouch for.
Thanks Sheridan!
