We would like to welcome a brand new member to our team – Matt Holdgate. Matt is our new Salesforce Technical Consultant and has a variety of experience at both a global and regional level. Outside of his passion for technology, Matt also excels as a sports enthusiast and innovator. As such, he is an exciting addition to our quickly growing team.

I caught up with Matt to learn about his passions, his experience and his hobbies.

Hey Matt, so tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hi, My name is Matt and I have been within the Salesforce Ohana for the past 5 years, 4 of those being involved in projects both global and regional. I’ve worked at both end user and consultancy level in a variety of roles in both a technical and functional space.

What is your experience as an Salesforce Consultant?

I’ve been working as a Salesforce Consultant straight from university and thoroughly enjoy the challenging nature and vast variety the role has to offer.

What attracted you to working with Salesforce?

I originally used Salesforce during a year long work placement at an end user organisation. Using Salesforce as an Admin and then later getting my hands-on experience in the backend development of small applications drove a passion for the technology and unlocking amazing opportunities for users and companies. Salesforce is huge and the industry it sits in is astronomical and is only getting bigger; and I say bring it on!

What interested you most about Trigg Digital?

I originally wasn’t looking for a change in organisation but after interviews and conversations with the great team at Trigg the opportunity seemed like a great one, and to pass it up would have been silly. Trigg is extremely interesting and to join the team as it’s growing is an exciting proposition to be part of something special in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Finally, what do you like doing in your spare time?

Anything physical, sporty or strenuous on the body I’m down for it. I love going to the gym and playing sports every chance I get. Lockdown has put a slight inconvenience on that but turning a garage into a haven for physical activity has become a dream and reality and one that I’ll look to continue and expand upon in the future.
