We would like to welcome a brand new member to our team – Louvanne Thomas, our fantastic new Project Manager! With many years experience in the industry, a love for making a positive difference in the lives of others, and her biggest claim to fame being that she previously merged 5 different sites onto one system, we are super excited to have Louvanne on board!
We caught up with Louvanne to learn about her passions, her experience and her hobbies.
Hey Louvanne, so tell us a little bit about yourself!
I am a mother of one who is always busy! I live in Northamptonshire and have worked both remotely and either in or near London over several years.
I am very driven and motivated to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in organisations in which I work. I am relatively quiet in that I do not take centre stage, but I am fairly outspoken, so you will always know if I have something to contribute!
I have worked for many corporate organisations, a few medium sized companies and for an Alzheimers charity. I have worked in a number of industries, such as Logistics, Banking, Media, Charity, Utility, and Recruitment.
What is your experience as a Project Manager?
I have many years experience as Business Analyst and Project Manager and started from a line management perspective, liaising with IT for enhancements to full sourcing and transformations.
I have managed a greenfield logistics WMS system which was my biggest claim to fame, merging 5 different sites onto one system. I have also managed middle and back office systems and integration with the front office for recruitment organisations and Nationwide bank for a year. I then moved onto Salesforce transformation moving companies from legacy CRMs onto Salesforce and have enjoyed doing these large programmes.
What attracted you to working in Salesforce?
I actually fell into a Salesforce role, knowing nothing of the application. I was asked to help a large media group who was going through transformational change and required assistance with data migration management. I did this for a year as a freelance contractor and have never looked back since. To the point now that I’m studying Trailhead in my spare time..
What interested you most about Trigg Digital?
My research showed that it was a start up consultancy company which was growing rapidly and the founders are from a Client background as opposed to Consultancy. As my background has been from a Client’s perspective, it made me feel comfortable that there was a great deal of business practical experience and great customer service and not coming from a theory based textbook style consultancy, so I felt that I could bring a great deal of experience from a business transformation perspective.
Finally, what do you like doing in your spare time?
I like spending time with my daughter, eating out, cooking, reading up on blockchain or crypto currency and current affairs. I also watch movies for quiet time and go to the gym and spa when time permits. I also observe the Sabbath (similar to the Jews).
Thanks Louvanne!
