We would like to welcome a brand new member to our team – Edward Bonilla, our new Salesforce Consultant! With a wealth of experience under his belt, Edward also boasts an impressive resume of certifications, awards, volunteer experience, and more! Trigg is super excited for this new addition and we can’t wait for him to work his magic.
We caught up with Ed to learn about his passions, his experience and his hobbies.
Hey Edward, so tell us a little bit about yourself!
I’m Edward (Ed)! I’m in a leafy part of London – Muswell Hill, and I’ve lived in various parts of London over the years. I stumbled into the Salesforce arena purely by chance, having taken on a role as a Marketing Executive at a major TV broadcaster. That was 14 years ago and I have since delved into the Marketing side a bit more which led me to become a CIM qualified marketer a few years ago. I would say I am passionate about CRM, obsessively understanding customer needs and how businesses can make the most of this.
What is your experience as a Salesforce Consultant?
I have officially been a consultant for almost 2 and a half years, but unofficially I would say for a good 7 or so years. I say unofficially because as the Salesforce/CRM expert in end-user situations, I have put on the consultant hat when dealing with requirements from different departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations etc).
What attracted you to working in Salesforce?
Salesforce was the first proper system that I was exposed to in my career, and it aligns to my professional values – to get to know the customer, and their interactions with the business. Salesforce can offer this and it’s incredibly easy to use. As you can tell, I’m a massive advocate of Salesforce.
What interested you most about Trigg Digital?
I got a taste for working in a consultancy, having worked for end users for over 11 years. Trigg appealed to me mainly due to its energy, expertise and dedication to helping businesses in their CRM journey. Since joining I have felt part of the team very quickly and it feels very much like a family.
Finally, what do you like doing in your spare time?
The recent lockdowns have ignited a passion for cooking, so I have delved into cooking various cuisines – mainly Peruvian food, which taps into my heritage. In addition to this, I missed going out with friends and dancing into the early hours of the morning, so I started making my own DJ mixes for my own parties or just for the cleaning-around-the-flat music mixes.
Thanks Ed!
